Thanks to Stefan Steigerwald (https://www.messermachershop.com) i received my knives back on friday. They are incredibly perfect hardened, no warping, just perfect. 

After a long weekend of handsanding i also finished the handle scales, which are made of dogwood. The incredible beautiful piece of wood i received from my friend Steffen, who raised, cut and dried it.

The wood was finished with boiled line seed oil and is actually waiting for the final buffing process to become mirror polished.

There are still 3 knives to be finished. One, the sheepsfoot/reverse tanto style one i given to Steffen, as he wanted to make his own knife.
